Temperature Lockout

The heater and remote are default to 120F and locked out from accessing higher scalding temperatures. Typically, residential applications do not require more than 120F hot water supply.

If you want to raise the temperature setting past 120F, then

  1. Press the “power button” off on the remote.
  2. Press and hold the “flow meter alarm / setting” button until the temperature starts to flash on the display.
  3. Use the up and down arrows to set a new maximum temperature limit up to 140F residential or 185F commercial.
  4. Press the “power” button to save the temperature limit.
  5. Now you have all the temperatures accessible from 100F up to the set temperature limit.

Additionally, if you have the Connect App, then you can set these options easily from App interface when the heater is not making hot water.
